- Post Report, Kathmandu

Nov 12, 2017-The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) has summoned a meeting with concerned stakeholders to discuss and direct ways to check the soaring vegetable price in Kathmandu valley.

Hello Sarkar, a complaint-hearing mechanism at the OPMCM, informed the meeting will be held in Singha Durbar at 3 pm Sunday. It said the meeting will discuss ways to control the rising price of vegetables in the valley and direct concerned stakeholders over the same.

With elections nearing, vegetables in the valley have become dearer by up to 53 percent. The rise has been attributed to drop in supply and delay in shipment.
