NC should win upcoming polls to safeguard democracy: PM Deuba

Addressing an election assembly organised in Darchula on Friday, PM Deuba, who is also the President of NC, said that the NC should win the elections to protect the democracy as the left alliance has been trying to impose one-party rule in the country.
“If NC wins democracy will be exist in the country,” he said, adding, “If NC loses, people will not be able to speak liberally.”
He went on to say that people would be free from fear and terror only in a democratic system.
PM Deuba further said that parliamentary and provincial elections are essential for the democratic future.
He said, “If NC wins in the upcoming elections, the country will achieve economic prosperity.”
Also speaking at the same programme, NC central member and candidate for the provincial election under the proportional category Dilendra Prasad Badu claimed that all the development projects in the district were brought under the leadership of NC.
