Addressing an election meeting of the Nepali Congress in Bajura on Saturday, Deuba said, "People's rights would vanish if democracy was not safeguarded. So, NC should be made victorious to safeguard democracy."
Saying that NC was the party to safeguard democracy, he urged all to cast vote for the NC candidates in federal and provincial elections. He also pledged to work for the development of the far west after his election to the post of PM again.
Deuba was of the view that there was no alternative to the NC for the development and prosperity of Bajura district that carries a number of potentials for development. The residents of Bajura would reside in a power outage-free district and their access to health care would be ensured, Deuba said. RSS
