The event introduces Robotics to kids using LEGO Mindstorm—a programmable robotics construction set that allows one to build, program, and command their own LEGO robots.
LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 is known for its robotics set that allows the user to build smart robots that can engage in various actions such as driving, shooting, slithering, walking and spinning, among others.
In the three-hour session (from 9 am to 12 pm) the kids learn how to build, code, and deploy their robots to accomplish various challenges.
“The event is an important step towards meeting our vision and objectives where we intend to cultivate a keen sense of self-learning, problem solving skills, and critical thinking,” said Saral Karki of KITHUB. “Robotics is not a far-fetched idea, it is something attainable. We want the children to have fun, but we also hope they can attain a sense of accomplishment as the robots they have built successfully navigate various challenges,” he further added, talking to the Post about KITHUB’s objectives.
The event will conclude today at KITHUB premises.
