PM Deuba, UML Chairman Oli console bereaved Dahal

Prakash Dahal, the only son of CPN (MC) Chairman, died of sudden cardiac arrest on Sunday.
PM Deuba and UML Chairman Oli on Monday went to Dahal’s residence in Lazimpat and extended their condolences to Dahal and his family members.
According to UML Chairman Oli’s press advisor Chetan Adhikari, the UML Chairman said that he and his party are deeply saddened by the demise of Prakash Dahal and urged the CPN (MC) Chairman to stay strong and overcome this grief.
UML Chairman Oli along with his wife Radhika and party senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal were present during the occasion.
Meanwhile, the left alliance of CPN-UML and CPN (MC) will continue election publicity campaigns and mass meetings that were scheduled to be addressed by Oli and Dahal will take place as scheduled, informed Adhikari.
Dahal along with left alliance leaders will be attending an election meet at Chitwan on Tuesday. However, Dahal will not address the programme. UML Chairman Oli and CPN (MC) leader Ram Bahadur Thapa will address the masses.
On a different note, UML Chairman Oli urged PM Deuba to make proper security arrangements before and during the elections. He also urged the Prime Minister to allocate compensations to people and properties damaged in recent attacks on political leaders.
