Dr Govinda KC, who was presented before the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday for the hearing of a contempt of court case filed against him, has complained of feeling uneasy and is taking rest in an ambulance inside the court premises.

The SC has allowed Dr KC to rest in the ambulance until the apex court finishes recording his statement, which has been delayed.

Dr KC was being kept at SC spokesperson Narayan Panthi’s office to record the statement when he complained of feeling uneasy.

SC sources said that hearing on the case will begin after recording the statement from KC. However, Dr KC’s case has not been listed at the daily cause list of the court. If the statement recording process is completed by today a supplementary cause list will be made public or the case hearing will take place on another day.

KC's legal advocate Surendra Bhandari is also with him at the court.
