Speaking at an interaction programme in the Capital on Sunday, Gyawali said Oli had invited Modi for a visit to Nepal during a telephone conversation between the two leaders.
“Modi telephoned Oli twice and both leaders invited each other for a visit to their countries,” said Gyawali. He said the recent visit by Indian External Minister Sushma Swaraj was to clear the mistrust and the visit had further strengthened the relationship between the two nations.
He also said the left alliance was for maintaining a cordial relationship with India. Speaking about new government formation of party unification, Gyawali said the twin tasks will be completed by next month.
