Left alliance unification process will conclude soon: Jhalanath Khanal

CPN-UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal has said that the unification process of left alliance would be concluded soon by resolving ideological and organisational problems with CPN (Maoist Centre).

At a news conference organised at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Tuesday, leader Khanal expressed his views that a new government would move ahead after initiating a new friendship with India and China. Khanal arrived in Kathmandu today attending the 29th standing committee of International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) held at Tehran of Iran.

A total of 38 political representatives from 24 countries including Asia, Europe and Africa had participated in the meeting of ICAPP related to silk-road.

During the meeting, leader Khanal spoke about the role of political parties on silk-road and held meeting with political leaders of different countries, said Khanal's Personal aide, Krishna Bhattarai.

The CPN-UML senior leader had left for Iran on January 31. RSS
