AIDIA hosts Nepal-Zambia roundtable meeting

Chief Executive Officer of AIDIA Sunil KC stated that the major object of the roundtable meeting was to discuss opportunities for bilateral trade and investment in Zambia.
Also present at the meeting was the High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia to Nepal Judith K K Kan’goma Kapijimpanga, who delivered the keynote speech.
She went on to share similarities between Zambia and Nepal such as their landlocked status and high-altitude locations. Both countries have agriculture and tourism as cornerstones of their economies.
She highlighted the benefits of investing in Zambia due to its political stability and growing economy while also being a gateway to Southern, Central and Eastern Africa.
Other notable attendees at the meeting included Ganesh Shah, former minister for environment, science and technology; Bishnu Hari Nepal, former ambassador of Nepal to Japan.
