Nawaraj Silwal spotted in Baluwatar

Silwal, along with UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, reached PM’s residence in Baluwater to meet Oli.
Police have been searching for Silwal after the Supreme Court (SC) ordered the government to initiate action against Silwal after concluding that he had forged the performance appraisal reports he had submitted to the apex court seeking his appointment as the chief of Nepal Police.
On January 2, the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Office had issued an arrest warrant against Silwal, who is elected as member of the House of Representative from UML ticket, to investigate into a case involving document forgery.
After failing to locate Silwal, Nepal Police Headquarters had issued internal circulars to all the police offices of seven federal states directing to search him.
