Gunar Sada, 50, and his son Arbind were injured in a clash that broke out between two groups at Bisaharpur in Gaushala Municipality-9 of the district this afternoon.
The duo sustained injuries in their head and forehead and are undergoing treatment at Gaushala-based Primary Health Centre.
A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Gaushala, under the command of Inspector Bhola Bhatta taken local Amar Singh Danuwar under control for his alleged involvement in the clash.
According to ward Chairman Mahesh Prasad Singh, a minor dispute turned into the clash due to some inebriated persons.
The situation returned to normalcy after the police reached the site following the incident.
Similarly, Mangalu Mahato, 37, was injured after a clash broke out between two groups at Hariduwa in Balawa Municipality-5 today.
Mahato, who sustained a deep cut in his head, has been taken to the Jaleshwor Hospital for treatment.
Armed Police Force (APF) SP Murari Basent and Kuber Kadayat said that security has been tightened in the area to prevent any untoward incident.
