While laying the foundation stone of Manmohan Centre Annex building on the premises of Marajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Kathmandu, PM Oli, who is also the Chairman of CPN-UML, said that the issue of prosperity would not be confined to paper only. He added that the government would work in such a way that the people can experience it.
“The government’s every step will be for the betterment and development of the people and the country,” PM Oli said, adding, “We should not fold our hands just by getting the prosperity. We should work to uplift the living standard of the people.”
Saying that none of the Nepali should die for the want of food, he claimed that the country would graduate from the Least Development Category (LCD) category to the list of developing country within few years.
He said that the country would adopt zero tolerance policy to curb corruption. PM Oli further said that the corruption would end automatically if the people of every level work in such a way that their character does not get assassinated in front of low level people.
