A discussion event titled Celebrating Womanhood—Mentrual Hygiene Management is slated to mark the International Women’s Day, which falls every year on March 8.A discussion event titled Celebrating Womanhood—Mentrual Hygiene Management is slated to mark the International Women’s Day, which falls every year on March 8.
Organisers said in a press note that the event will see attendance of key social influencers, public figures, media personalities, and corporate professionals, who will come together to express their ideas and thoughts regarding womanhood through painting on canvas. Further, the event will also feature a discussion on womanhood, a screening of the documentary Power of Red, and a few storytellers will share their experiences on stage.
Moreover, the event will also host an art exhibition featuring works by celebrities regarding the issue of womanhood and mestrual hygience. “Art works made by celebrities in public sites across the Valley will be showcased as part of the event in an attempt to continue the momentum on period power campaign,” organisers said.
The event will also feature food stalls and live music. Celebrating Womanhood is taking place at CALM, in Tangalwood, Naxal, on Thursday, starting at 4 pm through 7 pm.
