KTM to organise stunt competition

Hansraj Hulaschand and Company, a subsidiary of Golchha Organisation and sole authorised distributor of KTM bikes, is all set to organise the first orange stunt competition entitled ‘Roaring Gears’ at Satdobato Swimming Complex on Saturday. The event will feature KTM’s official stunt rider Rok Bagaros, who will be performing stunts during the show. 

The exclusive event, claimed to be the first of its type in Nepal, will kick off at noon. KTM bike owners or those holding a free pass, which can be obtained after a test ride of KTM bike at any KTM showroom inside Nepal, can take part in the event, according to the organiser. 

KTM, an abbreviation for Kraftfahrzeuge Trunkenpolz Mattighofen, is one of the fast sports bikes. Hansraj Hulaschand and Company launched the Austrian two-wheeler in the domestic market in 2012.  

Recently, the stylish sports bike has been gaining popularity mainly among youths. Likewise, there has been a significant growth in the popularity of stunt riding and stunt culture in Nepal. 

“Roaring Gears is once in a lifetime opportunity for Nepali stunt enthusiasts,” reads a 

press statement issued by the company. As per the organiser, the contestants of the main competition will be selected from among the participants who will take part in the event on Saturday. The first orange stunt competition is expected to bring together a large number of stunt lovers and bike enthusiasts at the event, said the organiser.  

RC 390, RC 200, 390 Duke, 250 Duke and 200 Duke among others are popular variants of KMT being sold by Hansraj Hulaschand and Company in the local market. The motorbikes cost between Rs444,900 and Rs699,900.
