Bangladeshi Minister calls on PM Oli

Visiting Bangladeshi Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism A.K.M Sahajan Kamal paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday.

In a meeting held at the PM's official residence, Baluwatar, PM Oli said the accident of US-Bangla aircraft that occurred on March 12 (Monday) was saddening and a probe committee has already been formed to investigate the incident.

According to PM's personal secretary Chetan Adhikari, PM Oli expressed his deep condolences and sympathy to the Prime Minister and the people of Bangladesh and the bereaved family over the demise of Bangladeshis in the aircraft crash.

The Bangladeshi Minister appreciated Nepal's prompt action in the relief and treatment of injured following the aircraft accident.

During the meeting, Minister Kamal said that Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina extended thanks to Nepal's Prime Minster Oli for the initiative taken by the Nepal government in the rescue operations immediately after the accident.  RSS
