Police have arrested 12 fake examinees from two exams centers during a Nepal Army (NA) examinations on Saturday.

Eleven fake examinees were arrested from CIT College in Koteshwor while one was arrested from Ratna Rajya Campus in Pradarshanimarg, informed senior SP Bishwa Raj Pokharel at Metropolitan Police Range.

They were arrested in coordination with Nepal Army and Public Service Commission. Eight men and four women are among the arrestee. Eleven of the arrestees were sitting for exam of another person.

The arrestees have been kept at Metropolitan Police Circle in Baneshwor for further investigation.

NA has claimed this was the first time fake examinees were arrested from exams conducted by it. The exam was conducted to fulfill the vacant private position in NA.
