Hundereds of Hindu devotees thronged to Balaju Park to take the annual ritual shower at the Baise Dhara (22 water spouts) in the Capital on Saturday.

Also known as the Balaju Baise Dhara Mela, the festival is celebrated every year on the day of Chaitra Sukla Purnima.

It is believed that taking a ritual shower at the 22 stone spouts during this full moon festival can protect people from illness and have better life.
