Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) Chairman Upendra Yadav has expressed dissatisfaction over the behavior of the federal government.
“The government is indulged in activities against federalism,” said Chairman Yadav, adding, “Though supported the government to amend the constitution by institutionalising federalism, the government is moving in the opposite direction.”
Addressing the third national assembly of Madhesi Health Workers’ Forum Nepal in on Friday, Yadav urged the major parties to not to mistake his party’s taking part in the election for accepting the constitution.
The country will not witness stability until the constitution is amended, he noted. He further claimed said the people with centralized-mindset are conspiring to weaken the federalism though the country ushered in a federal democratic system.
He was of the opinion that local level and province level administrations should be brought to the province level to make federalism strong.
On the occasion, Province 2 Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut said conspiracies are rife to make federalism ineffective by weakening the province government and pilling burden on the local government.
He said that his government’s top priority is good governance.
