Part of the festival’s stated goals is to help create an environment to respect and honour the guiding profession and mountaineering sport. Though catered to mountaineering professionals, the event is open to one and all.
Climbing legend, Kami Rita Sherpa, who recently broke the record for most ascents to the Mount Everest summit, will be present at the event along with other acclaimed personalities from different sectors. The festival will include an obstacle course challenge, the presentation of photos and videos from expeditions, storytelling, an interaction session, food-drinks-music, and the swap and sale of expedition gears.
The event will be held at Outdoor Adventure Center Nepal, located inside the premises of Godavari Alumni Association (GAA) Hall, Thamel.
