Earlier in the day, Bishwakarma was produced before the court with a request to issue remand order for investigation in a case related to bomb explosion at Tulsipur during the elections of federal parliament and provincial assembly.
He was brought to Bhojpur from Dang on Friday. Five days of the remand have already passed since Bishwakarma was transported from Bhojpur on Wednesday. The court has ordered the police to produce him with necessary evidence in the next three days.
Dang District Police Chief SP Krishna Hari Sharma said Bishwakarma was presented before the court because the office was closed on Friday. On November 28, 2017, a Myadi (temporary) police Binod Chaudhary, 23, of Urhari in Tulsipur-12, died in an explosion targeted at Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba's election rally in the district. Nine others were injured in the explosion.
Police said Bishwakarma was brought to Dang after a note was found in his diary about Dang explosion.
Earlier, Bishwakarma was transported to Bhojpur on Tuesday (September 4), a day after he was released by the authorities in Kathmandu at the orders of the Supreme Court. He was accused of attacking the election rally attended by Province 1 Chief Minister Sher Dhan Rai in Bhojpur.
Bishwakarma, who was earlier arrested on extortion charges was released by the Supreme Court, was again arrested from the premises of Kathmandu District Court on the charge of setting fire to Namobuddha-6-based crusher industry. The arrested CPN spokesperson was then brought to District Police Office, Kavre.
