Chasing a target of 151 runs for victory, Bhutan was bowled out for just 33 runs.
Losing the toss and batting first, Pradip Airee scored 75, Anil Kumar Sah hit 27 and Dipendra Singh Airee contributed 15 runs for the big total from their 20 overs. Bhutan completely lost its way in the run chase and were eventually bowled out in the 17th over.
Lalit Rajbanshi and Sandeep Lamichhane had three wickets each while Basanta Regmi claimed two. Dipendra Singh Airee and Sharad Bheswakar also had one each to their name. Tenzin Wangchuk jnr was the top scorer with 11 runs. He was also the only batsmen to score a double-digit score for Bhutan.
Pradip Airee received the Man-of-the-Match award for his 75 runs.
