Prof Dr Arun Sayami, giving information on the Prime Minister’s health condition, said the PM has started working by convening a meeting with the Ministers for Defence, Home Affairs and Energy.
The Prime Minister is recuperating at the Manmohan Cardiovascular and transplant Centre at the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.
“The Prime Minister has slept well and taken his food comfortably. We have advised him to stay at the hospital for some days for rest,” Dr Sayami said.
Hospital director Dr Uttam Krishna Shrestha said, “The Prime Minister’s health has been gradually improving since he was admitted to the hospital on Monday. It would be appropriate for him to stay in hospital for few days more to complete the remaining antibiotic course.”
The medical test reports were satisfactory and there has been further improvement in the PM’s health, read a statement issued on Wednesday.
He was admitted to the hospital on Monday after complaining of chest pain and breathing difficulty.
