Nepal Communist Party Co-chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has alleged that former rulers are striving to break the unity of communists. He said the past rulers are involved in a series of tactical exercises to manipulate and weaken the people as part of their efforts to reinstate their lost rule.
Addressing the launch of fortnightly magazine Lok Abhiyan in Butwal on Sunday, Dahal said it will be detrimental if the people are not made aware and educated in time. “At a time when the people’s mandate is with us, we must clarify and make the people aware,” he said. “Otherwise the people can take a different path, and we may lose the achievements while we remain a mere onlooker.”
He claimed that anti-communist forces from left, right, within, and outside the country are plotting to weaken the communist unity and success. He said that he is concerned that the unity of communist shouldn’t be like breaking of water bubbles.
