- Post Report, Dang

Nov 7, 2015-

Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that India is unnecessarily punishing Nepal by imposing blockade.  Speaking at a goodwill exchange programme organised by UML Dang chapter in Ghorahi on Friday,  he said India’s embargo is a punishment as Nepalis are facing hardships. The leader questioned why India was bothered over Nepal adopting its constitution. He also said that India’s move to impose blockade on Nepal for promulgating the new constitution with an overwhelming majority is unacceptable. The UML leader said India has tarnished its reputation as a good neighbour because of its blockade. He also urged the Madhesi people not to get incited from external forces and remember that they are Nepalis. He further said the Madhes-centric parties are venting their ire against constitution because they were defeated in the election.
