Speaking at a programme organised by Press Chautari in Mahendranagar on Sunday, Rawal said the government was prepared to open most of the border points in the north.
He added that the government would sign a trade agreement with China to import both fuel and other essentials.
Rawal also said the government will soon provide the details about fuel distribution and stock to the public.
The Defence Minister also said that both Nepal and India will suffer if the centuries-old relations between the two countries are broken because of the ongoing crisis.
He said the government was ready to negotiate the demands pressed by the
agitating Madhesi parties, but said that the latter should change the mode of their protest.
