Nepal International Trade Fair to start from March 17

FNCCI is organising the fifth edition of the fair from March 17-21 in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. In association of Commerce Ministry and Trade Export Promotion Centre, FNCCI has been organising the event every year. According to the organiser, the event will have 300 stalls showcasing a number of products from India, China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, Bhutan and Taiwan. It will include 70 and 90 stalls of Indian and Chinese companies, respectively.
Handicrafts, iron and steels products, readymade garment, medicinal products, technology goods, furniture, edibles, fashion ware, leather goods and home décor along with accessories related to tourism, information technology, agro products, energy and education will be some of the major attractions.
Similarly, 70 stalls of domestic companies will showcase goods and services included in the Nepal Trade Integrated Strategy.
Besides, the trade fair will also hold a forum for technology transfer and the possibility for joint investment in potential areas, said the organiser in a statement. The organiser has expected more than 200,000 visitors.
