Speaking at a programme in Bhairahawa on Saturday, Yadav also advised the Madhes-based parties to struggle for their demands peacefully.
“The Madhesi parties should not resort to hurling stones from Nepal-India border areas,” said Yadav, adding that the government should also address the concerns of the plains people.
The first president of the country reminded all the Nepalis of their responsibility to protect the country’s constitution. Stating that the government should uphold the rights of the people, The former president said the political parties need to develop the country by following the newly adopted constitution.
