Addressing a function to mark the first memorial day of late CPN-UML politburo member Ramnath Dhakal at party headquarters on Monday, PM Oli said those suggestions were unfounded as the government was working to resolve the issues objectively. He also said there would be not any election of Parliament unless it completes tenure.
PM Oli, who also chairs the UML, said that the incumbent government and his party would go ahead with unity, strength and progress overcoming all kinds of problems.
Remembering the contribution of the late Dhakal to the party, Oli said Dhakal was active, dynamic and influential leader.
Likewise, party General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel urged the party cadres to work for the betterment of the party, taking inspiration from the contribution of the late leader. The UML was moving ahead on the way to national independency, self-decision on national issues and implementation of the new constitution, Pokharel said while stressing on maintaining balanced relations with the neighbouring countries.
