NPC make it to super league

Nisha Sunar scored a brace after Niru Thapa and Yasodha Lama struck one apiece as NPC entered the super league with one group stage game in hand. NPC have six points after registering their second consecutive victory in the tournament.
Thapa put NPC ahead in the 25th minute before Lama made it 2-0 in the 34th. Sunar put her side in a comfortable position as NPC headed into the second half with a 3-0 lead through her goal in the 44th minute. Manju Rai reduced the deficit for Eastern Region in the 55th minute. However, NPC regained control through Sunar in the 64th minute.
Also, Central Region hammered Mid-Western Region 8-0 to remain on course for the second available spot for Super League from Group ‘A’. Central Region are second in the table with two points and the match against NPC will determine their faith. Eastern Region meet relatively weaker opponents Mid West in their last league game.
Rashmi Kumari Ghising scored a hat-trick in Central Region’s convincing victory with Sita Kuswar also scoring a brace. Other goals came from Rabina Maharjan, Monika Kuswar and Manisha Raut.
