Sunburn announces two-day Nepal extravaganza
Sunburn, one of the biggest musical festivals in the world, is scheduled to host a two-day Nepal extravaganza on Sept 23 and 24.Sunburn, one of the biggest musical festivals in the world, is scheduled to host a two-day Nepal extravaganza on Sept 23 and 24. The event, to be held at the Gokarna Forest Resort, will feature some of the best acts from the techno and electronic music space, along with a state-of-the-art technical setup, complimented by mesmerising visual, laser graphics and special effects.
The event is expected to draw a huge participation from the youth and dance music enthusiast who actively seek such live experiences. This will be Sunburn’s second event in Nepal and has been programmed specifically keeping the local audiences in mind, the organisers have said.
Karan Singh, CEO at Sunburn, states, “Sunburn today has a global audience and has evolved from
being just an event to a lifestyle brand and a way of life. The intent of having a two-day event is to give dance music fans a holistic dance music experience which they can experience with their friends and social communities.” He further added that Nepal has seen a considerable increase in the interest of techno and electronic music and vowed to make this year’s Sunburn a memorable event. “Fans are definitely in store for a treat with amazing music, vibes and production,” Singh said.
Sunburn, which was launched in 2007, has been described as a synergy of music, entertainment and lifestyle and commands millions of fans in India. It has also held events in Sri Lanka, Dubai and Oman. Sunburn Goa is considered amongst the biggest music festivals in the world, on par with global events like Tomorrowland
and Ultra Miami.
