Frost & Sullivan, a global consulting firm headquartered in California, has honoured Nepal’s top firms and personalities during the first edition of its flagship event -- Growth, Innovation and Leadership Summit (GIL 2016: Nepal) -- in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
President of Chaudhary Group Binod K Chaudhary has been awarded with “Growth, Innovation and Leadership Award 2016”. Grande International Hospital has been honoured with “Best Hospital of the Year” award and Buddha Air has been conferred with best “Domestic Airline”. Likewise, Ncell has been honoured with “Telecom Company of the Year”.
“A robust and healthy private sector is needed for the development of a country,” Chaudhary said, receiving the award. “I consider this award to be in recognition of my efforts for the promotion of the business sector in Nepal that is both my homeland and business base.”
“I am committed to promoting Nepal’s economic development not only in my role as a private sector representative, but in any role or capacity if there is a need,” he said. “I would like to contribute in best possible ways toward Nepal’s development.”

The recipients of the 2016 Frost & Sullivan Nepal Excellence Awards were identified based on an in-depth research conducted by Frost & Sullivan’s analysts.
The short-listed companies were evaluated on a variety of actual market performance indicators which include revenue growth; market share and growth in market share; leadership in product innovation; marketing
strategy and business development strategy.
