The main opposition will let the election-related bills pass in Parliament, Subas Nembang, deputy leader of CPN-UML Parliamentary Party, said on Thursday. 

Nembang’s remarks during a meeting with parliamentary affairs reporters on Thursday come at a time when the UML has taken a strong stand that it will not let the House function unless the constitution amendment bill is withdrawn. 

Nembang, also former House Speaker, also said that the UML would take the responsibility of getting election-related bills endorsed in Parliament. 

“We have made it clear to the prime minister that the UML will support the government if it declares election dates,” added Nembang.
