Shikhar Insurance is organising the Shikhar Golf Tournament 2016 at the Gokarn Golf Club on Friday and Saturday. The tournament will be played on a stableford format with 3/4 handicap allowance over the 18 holes. In all, 75 amateur golfers will play their rounds on Friday to add to another 100 to tee off on Saturday. Ten ladies and as many junior golfers are also in fary for the tournament. Prizes on offer include winner, runner-up, best gross, ladies winner, runner up, senior winner (age 60 &above), super senior winner, junior winner, longest drive, closest-to-the-pin and most birdies.
