Chetana Conservation to honour artists

During an event, the organisers informed that the award for contribution in journalism, Naresh Subedhi Journalism Chetana Award, will be awarded to journalist Kishor Kumar Karki; while Dharmananda-Rampyari Sitaula Literature Chetana Award will be conferred upon Professor Dr Basudev Tripathi. Similarly, the Academy will award artist Ramesh Khanal with the Bhupendra-Shova Rijal Art Chetana Award.
Likewise, Dr Guru Prasad Subedi of Devghat Sanskrit University will be awarded with the Barkrishna-Narvadadevi Mundhata Sanatan Manaviya Dharma Sanskriti Chetana Award and Omprakash Goyal Social Service Award will be given to chairperson of Maiti Nepal, Anuradha Koirala.
The awards which carry the purse of Rs 51,000 each will be presented amid a ceremony to be held on Saturday, February 11. The academy was established in 2004.
