MetLife achieves its carbon goals

MetLife, a US-based insurer, has announced that it has achieved its goal of carbon neutrality. According to the company, it has attained its target by integrating sustainability and energy efficiency best practices across the company’s global operations. MetLife has its 19 Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design 

certified offices which are claimed to have reduced 30 percent of energy reduction globally. The company maintains green investment of $9.7 billion in various renewable energy projects including 37 wind and solar farms, states a press release. (PR)
