NC manifesto drafting panel in full shape

The party’s Central Working Committee (CWC) last week had formed the Local Elections Manifesto Preparation Committee under the coordination of CWC member Mahesh Acharya.
Thirty four members were inducted into the committee on Saturday. Ram Sharan Mahat, Minendra Rijal, Farmulla Mansoor, Man Bahadur Bishwakarma, Dilendra Prasad Badu, NP Saud, Umakanta Chaudhary, Arjun Prasad Joshi, Bhishma Raj Angdambe, Shekhar Koirala, Ananda Prasad Dhungana, Chandra Bhandari, Kamala Panta, Ajaya Kumar Chaurasiya, Ambika Basnet and Dhanaraj Gurung, Mahendra Yadav are among the members of the committee.
The largest party in Parliament said in a statement on Saturday that the committee will hold discussions with party office bearers, CWC members and chiefs of sister organisations about the party manifesto.
“The sitting ministers representing the NC in the government are invited members of the committee,” reads the press statement.
Pradip Parajuli, party’s central office secretary, will coordinate the secretariat of the manifesto preparation committee, added the press statement. The committee’s first meeting is scheduled for Sunday at the party headquarters in Lalitpur.
