Hansraj Hulaschand, the sole authorised distributor of KTM bikes in Nepal has introduced a slew of motorcycles that is sure to get the attention of motorcycle enthusiasts in the country.

 The company has launched the 2017 refresh of the RC 390, RC 200, Duke 390, Duke 200. A new bike was also introduced by the company, the Duke 250.

One of the most renowned motorcycle brands in Europe, KTM has been successful in capturing the hearts of motorcycle enthusiasts all over the world, including Nepal.

KTM is an icon in the premium motorcycle segment and has managed to be one of the most widely sold brands in the country ever since its launch in 2012, reads a press release.

The company has refreshed the RC siblings, with RC 390 getting substantial changes while the RC 200 gets minor changes.

According to the company, RC 390 gets a host of premium features such as ride-by-wire technology, slipper clutch and anti-lock braking system (ABS). Other changes include revised graphics, a revised exhaust unit, improved brakes and a Euro-IV compliant engine.

The smaller sibling in the RC range was refreshed with new livery that is sure to attract attention on the road. Both RC 390 and 200 have a trellis frame, aluminium swing arm and upside down suspension. The RC 390 and RC 200 can churn out a maximum power of 43.5 PS and 25 PS respectively, reads the press release.

The company has also refreshed the Duke siblings, with the bigger Duke 390 —following KTM’s tendency to upgrade the bigger sibling while keeping the smaller sibling unchanged—getting major upgrades.

The Duke 390 gets a split LED headlamp, big fuel tank and dual colour frame. The motorcycle also gets a new TFT dash, a huge upgrade over the old version found on the original Duke 390. Riders can connect their smartphone with the bike via Bluetooth and it can be controlled through the buttons on the handle bar, claims the company. The Duke 200 gets new graphics options.

“Performance and design makes KTM bikes superior to others. Newly introduced KTM bikes are loaded with cutting edge technology,” said Shekhar Golchha, executive director of Hansraj Hulaschand.

According to the company, KTM Duke 250 is a new entrant in the domestic market. It is looking to bridge the gap for riders looking for something more powerful than the RC 200 or Duke 200 but not willing to commit to the pocket rockets of RC 390 or the Duke 390.

With all the characteristics that define KTM bikes, the Duke 250 develops 30 PS of power. The streetfigher is available in white and orange colour combination.

The company has priced the KTM RC 390 at Rs 689,900, RC 200 at Rs 529,000, Duke 390 at Rs 699,900, Duke 250 at Rs 534,900 and Duke 200 at Rs 444,900.
