Addressing a party gathering in Janakpur on Tuesday, Nidhi claimed that the communist parties in Nepal wish to impose one-party rule like in China. He said the two leftist parties had not mentioned “federal democratic republic” in the six-point agreement reached while forming the alliance.
He asked Congress activists to go to the people with the agendas of federal democratic republic and constitution amendment to broaden the rights of the Madhesis, Janajatis and Muslims, among others.
Candidates for the federal parliament and provincial assembly, district committee members, central members and area committee members of the party attended the programme organised by the NC’s Dhanusha district committee.
