The Indian bordering area where the incident took place is in Uttar Pradesh which shares a 600km long open border with Nepal.
The border survey team has been authorised to study the border pillars of Kailali, Kanchanpur, Dadeldhura, Baitadi and Darchula districts. The officials from both countries had organised a meeting on border dispute settlements at Paliya bazaar in Lakhimpur, India, on Wednesday.
