Speaking at a programme organised at Baluwatar on Wednesday for the federal and provincial lawmakers who supported the government in Parliament during the vote of confidence, PM Oli said the general people who go to the court seeking justice are facing the brunt due to the ongoing mismanagement in the judiciary.
“The judiciary is at boiling point and the people seeking justice are facing the brunt,” said the PM. “It is sad that a person holding a responsible position has been embroiled in controversy surrounding his birth date and education certificates,” Oli said, indicating to Chief Justice Gopal Prasad Parajuli.
On a different note, PM Oli said the CPN-UML and the CPN (Maoist Centre) will unify as per the need of the hour and demand of the people.
Claiming that the party unification process will be completed within April 22—the day Nepal Communist Party was formed, PM Oli said, “The incumbent government is capable of leading the nation towards peace, stability, prosperity and national unity.”
PM Oli also said the government is ready to make amendments to the constitution as per the wishes of the people and in favour of the country.
Speaking on the occasion, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal vowed to take the country towards the path of development and prosperity through united efforts after institutionalising the changes in the country.
Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav, Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal presidium Chair Mahantha Thakur and members of the Federal Parliament and State Assemblies supporting the government were present at the event.
