Divided into four sections, Jeevan Sangharsh revolves around how Nepalis entered Burma, the struggles that Nepali working immigrants go through in Thailand, the organisational efforts of non-residential Nepalis abroad, and contributions and collaborations that saw the light in the aftermath of the earthquakes.
The book is a tale of three countries that depicts struggles and patriotism of Nepalis whose identity is divided among Myanmar, Thailand, and Nepal. According to a press statement, “The book will contribute to rejuvenating Nepali language, culture and civilisation in Burma and Thailand.” The book also aims to donate the revenue collected in social work. On the day of launch, Rs 5,00,000 was handed-over to Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation. The book is edited by Ramesh Khadka and published by Media Service Nepal.
