After working on the much-awaited Amir Khan starrer Thugs of Hindostan, which is slated for release this November, Tiruwa is currently working on the sets of Salman Khan-starrer Bharat.
To be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat will see the onscreen romance between Khan and Katrina Kalf, in what will be their comeback together after 2017’s blockbuster Tiger Zinda Hai.
Tiruwa, who has also worked as a physiotherapist for the Nepali cricket team, is currently in Mumbai working with Bharat’s crew; the team is scheduled to shoot the film’s second schedule in the European country Malta.
“This has been a great opportunity for me as doors have opened for other prospects as well. However, I still prefer being a sports physiotherapist,” Tiruwa has said about working at Thugs of Hindostan.
Back in 2016, Tiruwa was physiotherapist for the Indian Pro Kabaddi team Bengal Warriors. His experience working in the Pro Kabaddi League was what had brought him to the attention of filmmakers, he said.
Aside from working with the Nepali national cricket team during the World Cricket League Championship, Tiruwa also served as chief physiotherapist for the 2017 iteration of the Dhangadi Premier League.
