- Rupak Dhakal

Sep 26, 2018-

By the fire we sat;

so numb and silent.

And in the flames

they danced

so quiet,

And so peacefully;

yet so powerful:

Our souls, they sang

and all in the silence,

while we sat by the fire,

with blood red wine

raging through our veins.

You: far somewhere

in this world of mystery.

I: wondering the same

in the same world.

I wonder how often

you feel the rages

welling inside you.

Even when everything is at peace,

you still feel undone

Yet bound in emotions

Poor these souls,

obliged to reside in a body.

Had there been no bodies,

How do you think

the world would have been?

Or may be i am false as always.

Cause may be

there would have been no world.

With no you and no me,

sitting by the fire,

dancing in the flames.
